It’s so cute, the aesthetic is completely on point! Such a wonderful little shop with amazing staff. I had a Halloween tattoo done by Ollie Idlehanded and as always, being tattooed by him was a wonderful experience. I have OCD and so getting tattooed for me is always an anxiety inducing experience but Ollie is always so amazing at making me feel at ease and I never feel scared to ask him for things that make the experience easier for me. It’s so important to me to have an artist who makes me feel like I’m not being too much by sometimes asking for a little extra help and I appreciate it so much. The tattoo shop is incredibly clean and this also helps me to feel very comfortable. If you’re neurodivergent I would definitely recommend! On top of a wonderful range of artists, the shop also hosts cool events like trinket trades and maker markets so there’s always something exciting going on, and it’s just so lovely to have an arty place for makers to connect. My first tattoo at HD was a high piece in colour from Omi, who I highly recommend. They were lovely to talk to, well prepared, and more than willing to accomodate any design changes. He takes great pride in his work (as all the artists there do) , which shows through the final product. The shop itself is decorated with a snazzy theme, with trinkets and art to match. There's a shop to buy prints from the artists, and other little bits and pieces to tickle your fancy. It has good accessibility and great amenities in comparison to other shops I have been in.
